I am being featured on ATNE, Art Technology New England, a consortium dedicated to uniting the worlds of art and technology. ATNE is a project of Boston Cyberarts and creates a vital platform for networking, support, exploration and discussion of current issues in the new media and digital arts community.

The joint paper proposal with Nina Czegledy "Media Arts Knowledge Transfer: Socio-cultural challenges in responsive art education" for The 2nd UNESCO World Conference on Arts Education to take place over 25-28 May 2010 in Seoul was confirmed. Am now collaborating with InAEA, the International Art Education Association.I am serving as the World Councilor Europe. InAEA is an online group located in the virtual world of Second Life for all art educators around the world. Sandrine Han, (aka Kristy Handrick in SL) who holds InAEA in SL is a doctoral candidate at Northern Illinois University. Her dissertation is about distance learning and visual culture in 3D visualized virtual worlds.

Ein internationals Projekt mit Studenten der Bildnerischen Erziehung/Linz und der Abteilung Bildende Kunst am Kunstinstitut der Bundesuniversitaet Rio Grande Do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brasilien.
-Studierende des BA-Studiengangs Erziehung & Bildung der PH Freiburg erproben Smartboards und interaktive low cost Do-it-yourself Tafeln für die Lehrerbildung und entwickeln ein Lernmodul für Lehrkräfte. In Kooperation mit Werner Fütterer, ZIMT der Universität Flensburg. Studentischer Mitarbeiter: Sebastian Biefang, Präsentation am 4.2.09, 12.30 Uhr, Mensazwischendeck, PH Freiburg -Entwicklung des Wikis Medienkompetenz/Medienbildung, Erstellung durch Studierende des Fachs Mediepädagogik der PH Freiburg. -Die Video collage mit Impressionen der Ars Electronica 08 von den Studierenden der Medienpädagogik Sebastian Biefang, Tom Weidenfelder, Johannes Winter und Dorothea Billig wurde vom 2.-5.2.09 im Videokubus des Fachs Kunst, PH Freiburg präsentiert, s. auch www.soundnezz.de -Medienpädagogischer Videoresponse-Wettbewerb von Studierenden der PH Freiburg -Studierende des Fachs Medienpädagogik der PH Freiburg entwickelten eigene Forschungsprojekte im Bereich der Mediennutzung und Medienwirkung, Vorstellung an der Staudinger Gesamtschule Freiburg, 4/2009 (Margarete Lyncker) - Fortbildung "Wissen vernetzen - Wikis im Unterricht", von Sebastian Biefang, Anja Grengs, Marthe Geiben und Tom Weidenfelder waehrend der Medienwoche der PH Freiburg (Termin 2.2.09, 12-16 Uhr, KGV 007) Die Projektseminare und Ergebnisse wurden von den Studierenden während der Medienwoche (u.a. vom 2.-5.2.09, 12-14 Uhr) der Interdiszipinären Gruppe des Instituts fü Medien in der Bildung der PH Freiburg vorgestellt.

Das Wiki der Studierenden des Seminars "Medienpädagogische Experimentierfelder" befindet sich hier. Es wurde im SoSe 2008 von den Studierenden Sebastian Biefang, Marthe Geiben, Anja Grengs, Tom Weidenfelder und Maren Wetzel entwickelt.
